Neeme, Berkey, and Elias to Host BetMGM’s March Poker Mania March 20-27

From March 20-27, Darren Elias, Matt Berkey, and Andrew Neeme will play emcee to BetMGM’s March Poker Mania, an online series with tournaments in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania that will offer a total of $1.3 million in guarantees among the three states.

The popular trio of poker personalities will anchor coverage from their home states throughout the series, with in-person events and online streams all week long. In addition, PokerNews will be featuring different content surrounding the online series including daily recaps, live updates from certain events, and hosting the players mentioned above on upcoming episodes of the PokerNews Podcast.

Elias, a New Jersey native, will host a meet-up at the BetMGM Sportsbook at Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa on March 24, along with the live Spring Rebound Poker Tournament, an 8-max tournament with a $1,000 buy-in with a $100,000 guarantee from BetMGM and Borgata Poker on March 25.

Rounding out the omnichannel festival is Michigan’s own Neeme, who will host the MetMGM Poker Cash Game Meetup at MGM Grand Detroit on March 23 and a college basketball hangout at the BetMGM Sports Lounge on March 24 before streaming several events on his YouTube channel throughout the week.

“We’re thrilled that March Poker Mania will feature three poker titans, offering BetMGM players multiple new touchpoints with our brand,” said Luke Staudenmaier, Director of Poker, BetMGM. “It’s the first time that we’ve produced an online poker event in multiple states and with multiple hosts – simultaneously, and we’re excited to further connect our players and our brand with MGM properties across the country.”

The BetMGM March Poker Mania will also feature two new events, a $1,060 Heads-up Bracket Battle and a Phase II Main Event that offers players an opportunity to qualify for the $535 finale for just $55 in a series of daily Phase I tournaments. The Heads-up Bracket Battle will offer 32 players in each state a single-elimination, tournament-style event with $10,000 in additional value added to the prize pool.
